We advocate locally and internationally for the implementation of United Nations Security Council Resolution 1325 on Women, Peace and Security.
As a network, we form coalitions with prominent women’s organizations and networks in the region toward similar goals.
We cooperate with local and international media to make women’s voices heard in regards to pertinent issues.
Our network influences governmental decision-making through information-sharing, policy inputs and advocacy.
We raise women’s awareness about their legal rights and include them in identifying their policy priorities.

Our website promotes the successes of our member organizations to the international community and provides information about KWN advocacy campaigns.
At bimonthly meetings, KWN member organizations link with stakeholders to explore new ways of cooperation.
